Proyecciones en el Terrario es un programa que presenta regularmente vídeos, documentales y películas relacionados con la programación. Planteado a través del formato de cine fórum el último viernes de cada mes, cada ciclo invita al diálogo y al debate con sus creadores.

El debate después de la proyección contará con la presencia del director del documental y de Andrea Guzmán de DOCMA.

Valeria, Vilma, Mercy y el resto de sus compañeras sueñan con ser tratadas dignamente y que cese la violencia que sufren a diario. Son prostitutas, cobran 20 quetzales por servicio y trabajan en La Línea, junto a la vía del tren que atraviesa la capital de Guatemala camino al Océano Pacífico. Para llamar la atención sobre sus problemas, sobre el acoso de la policía y los asesinatos impunes, forman un equipo de fútbol, entrenan durante semanas y se inscriben en un torneo local del que luego son expulsadas por su condición de prostitutas. La expulsión genera en el país una encendida controversia, rechazos y apoyos que transforman sus vidas de la noche a la mañana. Esta es su historia.

Valeria, Vilma, Mercy and the rest of their co-workers dream that someday they will be treated with dignity and that the daily violence they suffer will come to an end. They are prostitutes, paid 20 Quetzales a trick, and they work in La Línea near the train tracks running across Guatemala’s capital, toward the Pacific Ocean. To draw attention to their problems of police harassment and murders committed with impunity, they form a soccer team, train for weeks, and sign up for a local tournament that they are expelled from because they are prostitutes. The expulsion creates great controversy all over the country, the support and rejection transforming their lives overnight. This is their story.
